Beata Heczkova is a licensed pediatric physical therapist. In 1999 Beata has graduated from a Master Physical Therapy program from Academy of Physical Education in Krakow, Poland. She has vast experience in the physical therapy environment from several clinics ranging from outpatient orthopedic physical therapy to Early Intervention services working with children 0 – 3 years old.
In recent years Beata became more and more passionate about working with children. She brings into pediatric physical therapy her perceptive manual skills which allow her to effectively determine children’s postural and functional misalignments and her skills allow her to release tightness and to strengthen weak, stretched muscles. Beata believes in treating the whole person and her focus is on improving posture and correcting faulty body mechanics which in return allows children to perform at their highest level of function.
Beata has participated in following education courses: - Neuromusculoskeletal Issues in Children; Sensory Integration without Equipment; Mulligan Concept - Mobilizations with Movement: “Nags”, “Snags” and More for the Upper Quadrant; Foundations of Trigger Point Examination and Treatment: A Myofascial Pain Workshop; Diagnosis and Treatment of Movement Impairment Syndrome; Introduction to Hippotherapy – Classic Principles and Applications.
